I HATED growing up with allergies! True, I got out of doing the “outside work” (I pride myself on only pushing the lawn mower ONE time while Dad took a phone call) but that’s because anytime I was somewhere on my parents multi-acre property, my eyes would become super itchy and my noes would run. Unfortunately, I passed down these lovely traits to my children!
So this year, right as my boys started getting stuffy noses and sneezing due to seasonal allergies, I was excited to get the chance to try a box of Children’s Claritin Chewables. Right off, there are a couple of great things about Claritin. Besides being a brand I know and the #1 Pediatrician-recommended, these are 24 hour dosages so you don’t have to remember to take them every few hours. Also, they’re a non-drowsy formula which in my house we need since we never get enough sleep!!!
My boys like the kid-friendly grape taste, too, but if your kids don’t like grape, they also have RediTabs which have no flavor and dissolve in the mouth (no water needed). My oldest said “It helped with the tickle in my throat and my nose felt more clear. When I stopped taking it (we ran out), I could totally tell the difference! We need more!!”. Guess I know what I’m adding to my shopping list…
