We made some yummy croissants the other day (Coconut ‘n Chips & Nutella ‘n Hazelnuts) but these ones are more “kid friendly”- perfect for an after school snack!

Applesauce ‘n Cinnamon

Wasn’t overly sweet- had a subtle flavor. Reminded us of fall time!

  • 1 package Pillsbury Croissants
  • 1 TBS Cinnamon
  • 6 tsp applesauce (I just opened a single serving from the kids’ cupboard)
Unroll your croissant packaging and spread applesauce on the top then sprinkle a touch of cinnamon. Roll up and add additional cinnamon to the top. Bake according to package directions. NOTE:  may need extra time to cook since the applesauce makes it moist.

Ants IN a log (Peanut Butter ‘n Raisins)

Remember when you were a kid and had celery with peanut butter and you added “ants” (raisins) on top? This ideas comes from that and it is REALLY good. When you bake it, it cooks the peanut butter making it a little crispy. The raisins give that little tart burst as you bite into it.

  • 1 package Pillsbury Croissants
  • 6 TBS peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup raisins (stemless raisins are best- may sound silly but the organic ones have a little annoying stem that you can taste in the croissant)

Unroll your croissants and then spread your peanut butter on each one avoiding the edges. Sprinkle your raisins and then roll up snugly. Bake according to package directions. Enjoy!
